It's the sort of place that makes you stop and wonder --
why would anyone live here?
and
why wouldn't everyone live here?
It's the type of city that turns the extraordinary into the mundane. A sort of place that takes the impossible and turns it into reality. One of those areas that has become Famous, a Home To All The World.
This is New York, and this is my city. Everyday I live it, breathe it, drink and eat it. My adoptive home that already feels like the most natural place for me to be on earth, the city that has come to mean the most to me.
Maybe you, too, live here. Six million (give or take) of us do. But, then again, maybe you don't. Perhaps you're just one of our forty million (give or take) visitors a year and simply curious, asking yourself 'what's this whole New York thing all about?'
So, whoever you are and wherever you live, I'm going to offer up small words about big experiences -- namely, this thing called City Life. Urban phrases on a platter, served up for your consumption.
Enjoy. And, well, if you don't, you can always visit http://www.nyc.gov.
